How to Find Work from Home Companies

Whether you want to be work from home as an employee or you want to work from home doing your own business, either is possible.  A close friend of mine was fortunate in being able to work from home for her company after she had her children.  Of course, the reason this was possible was because her work involved working at a computer, and as long as she completed her assignments, she was doing good.

You can find a number of work from home companies by doing a google search for “work from home companies.”  You can find jobs that you can do from home that are for clicking on ads, administrative secretaries, national managers, and so on.  However, be careful of work from home offers that require you to pay a fee.  Read my post “Work from Home Scams” for further information on what to watch for.

If, however, you are looking for the opportunity to have your own business, you can find a listing of work from home companies at the Direct Sellers Association. These are all legal companies, but they all operate differently in how they work (compensation plans, whether you have to stock inventory or not, whether you have to sell products or not – some of them you do not actually sell products). As well, consider that you do not need to work for a company and that you can create your own.  Any of the downloadable e-guides listed on this website throughout the posts can help you.
