Typing at Home – A few different options of exist
Typing at home presents a very viable way to work from home. There are a few options that exist if you are interested in typing. The options are: * general transcription *medical transcription * data entry
I will briefly explain the differences among these three different options:
General Transcription - If you can type quite quickly and with good accuracy, then general transcription could be a great way for you to be employed from home. General transcription involves typing words that are not medically-oriented.
Medical Transcription – If you have a background in the healthcare field or medical transcription, then this might be more for you. It differs from general transcription in that you are typing medical terminology, which is a whole different language in itself.
Data Entry – A different method of typing at home may be doing data entry. Data entry usually involves typing a string of numbers and letters that do not necessarily make sense. Data entry requires accuracy, but it is slower to do than general or medical transcription where you actually write words and sentences that make sense when put together.
Here is a very good and inexpensive e-book that you can get started in transcription with today:Transcription Business
