Affiliate Money Making – A Favorite Way to Make Money

Over many weeks, I’m going to provide you with many different jobs from home, or ways for employment from home.  In all cases, you would be in business for yourself, and able to have the perks of working for yourself!  So let’s get started.  I’m sure you’re chomping at the bit to get some great ideas.  One of my favorite ways to make money is through Affiliate Money Making, also called Affiliate Marketing.   Affiliate marketing is wonderful, because you are marketing products created by someone else.  You don’t have to create your own products (unless you want to – this will be discussed in a future post).   These products that you promote can be physical products or they can be information-type products.   You get paid a commission when someone purchases a product based on your recommendations.  This is tracked through your own affiliate link with coding that points back to you, as the person who recommended the product.

Now you may be wondering where you can find affiliate products?  The truth is that you can find them everywhere.  You can try doing a Google search of Affiliate programs, or you can be even more specific and do a search for an affiliate product in a specific niche.  You might be surprised to know that big companies like Wal-Mart have affiliate programs.  However, there are also many online businesses that offer some very good affiliate programs.  Remember that you are building a reputation and name for yourself, and so you want to promote something that is legitimate and something that you would personally buy.  Although you can’t buy every single affiliate product out there, it can be helpful if you do purchase some of them.  This way, you can provide honest insights into the product that you are recommending, and your potential customers will build their trust in you.

To advertise your affiliate products, you will need a website.  If you are like me, this can pose a stumbling block.  You can spend a lot of money hiring a web designer, or you can build a website yourself for a lot less.  I like the Easy Website Builder .
